Gavin Esler is a Scottish journalist, television presenter and author. He is author of five novels and four non-fiction books the latest of which is How Britain Ends.

In How Britain Ends (February 2021), Gavin explores the possibility of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland reinventing itself or, as the title suggests, coming to an end.
