The documentary parallels the United Kingdom’s struggles in the Second World War with the ongoing experiences of the Ukrainian people, questioning whether the lessons of history have been heeded, and delivers a sobering message at a time when Europe celebrates 80 years since Victory in Europe Day.. The screening will be followed by a discussion.
