Far from ‘settled’: How can we protect the rights of vulnerable EU citizens

The UK Government’s EU Settlement Scheme is deeply problematic. Thousands of vulnerable EU citizens living in the UK are likely to slip through the net and fail to apply by the deadline of 30 June 2021. Those affected will find themselves undocumented, and subject to the Home Office’s ‘hostile environment’.
Scott Ainslie, Green Party MEP for London, is hosting a lunchtime panel discussion for organisations and individuals who want to learn more about the EU Settlement Scheme – including how you can help to ensure vulnerable EU citizens secure their new status to remain in the UK.
