Martyn Bond – “If you don’t know where you’ve come from, you don’t know where you are going

Martyn Bond will describe the original ideas, history and background of the EU, the world’s most successful unique trading zone. Recognising the origins of the EU – aiming to avoid a repeat of the 1930s and 1940s – helps us appreciate this amazing collaborative peace project, in which the sharing of sovereignty between nation states provides greater sovereign power for all.  He has published several books on Europe – his latest came out in April this year, entitled: “Hitler’s Cosmopolitan Bastard: Count Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi and His Vision of Europe”.
