DESCRIPTION:The summit brings together 70 young people aged 18–25 from the UK and Germany to explore intercultural dialogue and deepen your understanding of different perspectives. \nThrough creative workshops and meaningful conversations with peers\, you will engage with topics such as disinformation\, civic engagement\, diversity and democracy. You will be encouraged to reflect on what democracy means in your everyday life\, exchange ideas\, and imagine the inclusive and resilient society you want to live in. \nThe summit runs from Thursday\, 19 – Sunday\, 22 March 2026  in Berlin. \nAll costs for travel\, accommodation and meals will be covered. Participants will not be required to contribute financially to the summit.

DESCRIPTION:We will discuss how the UK-EU relationship has changed over the last 12 months and what changes we can expect in the crucial year ahead with: \nDavid Gauke\, the former Secretary of State for Justice and Member of Parliament for South West Hertfordshire. David is a longstanding advocate for pragmatic UK-EU relations\, and has continued to contribute to public debate on Brexit\, constitutional reform and the future direction of British politics. \nRichard Baker MP\, a Scottish Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Glenrothes and Mid Fife since 2024. Richard is a member of the United Kingdom’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and an active participant on the APPG on Europe. \nNatalie Bennett\, the former leader of the Green Party of England and Wales. Natalie is a prominent environmentalist\, writer and campaigner\, and a strong voice on European cooperation\, climate action and social justice. Natalie is a frequent media commentator and speaker on the UK’s relationship with Europe and global challenges. \nChairing the event will be European Movement UK’s Deputy CEO\, Emma Knaggs. \nFrom evolving UK-EU relations to the lived realities of citizens\, trade\, mobility and cooperation\, our speakers will offer frank analysis and look ahead to the key questions shaping the UK’s relationship with Europe. You will have the chance to submit your questions to the speakers.
