He was so enthused and excited at the thought that\, when he returned home to Britain\, he tried to gather interest – but the only thing on people’s minds was the unfolding crisis in Suez. Albert might be Dorset for Europe’s oldest and most long-service Europhile! Talking to him is like living through history and he has a lively writing style.
