SUMMARY:Two Years After Brexit: Britain\, EU and Europe
DESCRIPTION:Two years after the UK left EU\, and one year after the Trade & Co-operation Agreement between the two came into force\, what are the consequences of Brexit? How is the implementation of the TCA in its first year\, including its economic impact\, working out? What solution can be found to the difficulties with the Northern Ireland Protocol? The TCA made no provision for a structured relationship between the parties in external relations and defence but the co-ordinated response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine has shown that the UK and the EU can work together when there is the political will. And what are the implications of the Russian invasion for the future of Europe and of the UK-EU relationship? \nA distinguished panel of speakers will analyse and discuss these questions at this webinar.
