SUMMARY:Brexit and British Farming\, with Liz Webster (Save British Farming)
DESCRIPTION:Liz Webster is the founder of Save British Farming\, a group which represents farmers\, consumers and members of the food production industry. The group campaigns against the lowering of food and animal welfare standards by trade deals which will savage Britain by handing away control to global producers to dump their low standard food on the British public.

SUMMARY:Who Decides in Europe? For Farmers\, Nature and Consumers
DESCRIPTION:In many European countries farmers are taking to the streets to demand a change in the rules governing the food system\, from farm to shops\, all the way to the fork – touching all our lives in the process. This is a transnational\, multilingual and interactive online webinar covering the topic of food production. It will be the start of a series on participatory democracy in Europe. With expert speakers we take a close look at how European democracy really works – both the written as well as unwritten rules between parliament\, governments\, civil society and lobbyism. Simultaneous interpretation is provided for English\, German\, Italian and French.
